Emergency Certificates

It is a one-way permit enabling an Indian to travel back to India when he has no other valid travel documents. It is given after the individual is interviewed by a Consulate officer who satisfies himself about the person’s nationality. The applicant should preferably have a copy of his Indian passport. The process takes about 15 days. Fees to be paid for EC is AED 20.
