Call on HH Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, by Consul General of India alongwith a group of prominent Indian businessmen based in UAE

Yesterday, Mr Venu Rajamony, Consul General of India met HH Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla alongwith a group of thirteen prominent Indian businessmen based in UAE. Mr Rajamony apprised HH about the active role being played by Indian business community in the Emirate of UAQ and in the other Emirates. The Consul General expressed his interest to further strengthen the existing economic and commercial relations between the Emirate of UAQ and India. His Highness welcomed the Consul General and the business delegation and assured his support to business endeavors in his Emirate at all times. A number of high level officials of the Government of UAQ were also present in the meeting.

The meeting was followed by a visit to the Ahmed bin Rashid Free Trade Zone, UAQ.
The delegation had wide ranging discussions with Mr Humaid Mohd Ali bin Salem, Director General, UAQ Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
