INDIASOFT 2009 – INTERNATIONAL IT EXHIBITION & CONFERENCE

INDIASOFT 2009, the largest IT global networking event in India and 9th consercutive event in the series will be held on 26th & 27th  February 2009 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India being organized by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

Being the only event of its kind in India, INDIASOFT 2009 is sponsored by Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India. The Partner State for INDIASOFT 2009 is “Government of West Bengal”, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Hon. Regional Director of ESC for the Middle East.  ESC’s Middle East representation is functioning since 1999.

ESC plays a proactive role in augmenting India’s global IT business and in creating opportunities for Indian IT enterprises across global markets.  It is committed to take the export of electronics hardware and computer software to a higher orbit of growth by being alive to the problems of the industry and exporters.  The total IT exports from India is estimated to be USD43.46 billion in 2007-08.  ESC continues to hold various activities like buyer seller meets, delegation of Indian IT enterprises to various countries and forging linkages between Indian and International IT enterprises.  INDIASOFT is one such event which offers international enterprises to find solutions for their various systems and process requirements, informed Mr Kamal Vachani.

Mr Vachani further added, INDIASOFT 2009 opens a plethora of opportunities for Exhibitors as well as IT Buyers globally looking for innovative outsourcing IT services & solutions including KPO, BPO. LPO, Banking, Finance, Insurance, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Bio Informatics, Engineering Design, Travel, Hotel, Hospitality, Logistics, Transportation, Educational, Pharma, E Governance, and much more...under one roof.  There will be around 100 Indian IT Tier II and III companies displaying a world of IT innovations and around 200 IT buyers from 50 countries for business networking.  ESC’s Middle East representation is targeting companies from this region to participate in INDIASOFT 2009, informed Mr Vachani.
