Ajman ruler receives Indian trade mission

WAM Ajman, 2nd Nov. 2008 (WAM) -- H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman, affirmed today that local and foreign investors should be provided with all facilities and incentives to assist them expand joint partnerships and increase trade exchange.

''Businessmen and investors should also be familiarised with investment opportunities and facilities available in the emirate of Ajman,'' Sheikh Humaid said during a meeting with Indian Consul General Venu Rajamony, who was accompanied by an Indian delegation of businessmen and investors.

He expressed his readiness to provide every possible assistance to allow establishment of joint ventures between Emarati and Indian investors in areas of health, energy, trade, tourism, industry and construction.

The meeting discussed ways of enhancing distinguished bilateral commercial and economic relations. The Indian delegation was briefed on services offered by Ajman government departments to foreign investors.

For his part, the Indian consul general said his country was ready to set up joint ventures with UAE investors to serve mutual interests.
