All NRIs who have any complaint against an individual or an authority in India can submit a petition detailing his grievances to the Consular Wing. The same is then forwarded to the appropriate authority in India for redressal. Whenever reply is received from India the same is communicated to the petitioner, who can also get his case followed up through the Consulate at regular intervals. During the year 2010, the Consulate attended to 346 complaints from Indian nationals working/ residing in UAE.  Also, the Consulate received 77 marital discord cases during the year.
